Dance

One of my hobbies is to dance. I have danced since 8 years old. I belong to a dance circle. I like to dance very much. How much do you know about dance? There are many genres of dance. I have danced in various genres, so today I want to introduce you to them that I have danced.

First, I introduce about HIP HOP. I think many people have heard the name. HIP HOP is a dance that originated in New York in America. HIP HOP has three major elements. There are rap, break dance, and graphic art. I think I introduce about break dance. Break dance is a representative dance of HIP HOP. It was developed by African-Americans and Latin Americans. It also used a break dance battle instead of a gun battle to stop the conflict. That battle is very powerful.

Second, I introduce about JAZZ. I like JAZZ dance because I think it can express feeling with dance. JAZZ dance is danced not only in Western music but also in J-POP. The characteristic of JAZZ dance is to dance with barefoot. It contains element of ballet.

Finally, I introduce about LOCK. The feature of LOCK dance is a style that takes a pose suddenly stopping from intense movement. There is a typical movement that points the finger toward the audience. This movement began to point at finger because the audience laughed. It is called point.
